At a time of great loss and grieving the one thing that family and friends seek is a wonderful and fitting funeral or memorial service for a loved one- a personal and professional service. Understandably, this can be very challenging at a time when people are dealing with their own grief.
As an accredited Funeral Celebrant with long experience in the nursing profession, I can provide guidance and support in drafting and delivering a personalised funeral or memorial service.
Yes, you can contact me directly, you do not need to rely on the funeral director to select one for you. I will visit you in your home to discuss the service, draft the ceremony to your satisfaction, liaise with the funeral director and deliver a quality service for you, your family and friends.
It’s important to note that there is no legal requirement for the funeral director to provide the celebrant services as part of their overall service. The choice of celebrant is up to you!
I am a Member of the Funeral Celebrants Association Australia, work to a Code of Practice, and undertake ongoing professional development to maintain my membership status.
'I wanted to send my sincere thanks to you. You made such a difference
during a very stressful time. From the moment we met you we knew that we had
chosen someone who would make a difference.
You were professional, reliable and caring and we really appreciate what
you did for us that day. Most funerals I have attended the celebrant leaves
immediately but you remained behind and spoke to each of us after the
ceremony and we will not forget that. To have someone care about us like
that was special. We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts'.
